Location-Based Service Consent

Effective Date: (These Terms take effect immediately upon the Member's completion of the consent process.)


Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Bud Co., Ltd. (Brand Name: KKiIi, hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and the Personal Location Information Subject (hereinafter referred to as the "Member") regarding the location-based services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Supplementary Provisions)

Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the 「Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information」, the 「Personal Information Protection Act」, the 「Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection」, and other relevant laws of the Republic of Korea, as well as the Company’s general Service Terms and Conditions.

Article 3 (Content and Fees of Service)

  1. The Company uses location information to provide the following services:
    • Nearby Information Recommendations: Providing information on nearby tourist attractions, accommodations, and cultural facilities based on the Member's current location.
    • Map-Based Visualization: Displaying the Member's location or specific destinations on a map and managing travel routes.
  2. In principle, the location-based services provided by the Company are free of charge.

Article 4 (Retention Period and Destruction of Personal Location Information)

  1. The Company shall immediately destroy personal location information once the purpose of providing the Service has been achieved.
  2. However, data closely related to the use of the Service, such as location records within a "Travel Project" created by the Member, shall be retained until the Member withdraws (account deletion).
  3. Records confirming the use and provision of location information shall be retained for six (6) months in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Article 5 (Rights of the Personal Location Information Subject)

  1. Members may withdraw all or part of their consent for the use and provision of personal location information at any time.
  2. Members may request the Company to allow them to inspect or be notified of the data confirming the use and provision of their location information.
  3. All rights can be exercised through the settings menu within the Service or by contacting the Customer Center.

Article 6 (Location Information Privacy Officer)

The Company has designated a person in charge to properly manage and protect location information and to efficiently handle complaints from personal location information subjects.
